Jessie is interested in mitigating environmental injustice and disparities in technological literacy. Inspired by her international business courses at Longwood University, she spent a year teaching high school students in Vietnam. SinceÌýreturningÌýhome, she has worked in Virginia for a nonprofit environmental law firm for 3.5 years. Aspiring to utilize her passion for design, she tookÌýon the role of head of UX for a healthcare start-up, assisting pre-med students adversely impacted by the pandemic. Jessie is eager to further explore design to reduce the challenges users face in their day-to-day lives.
