Whaaat!? Lab
Whaaat!? is the reaction to an amazing interaction or novel experience - the feeling when your expectations are shattered. The Whaaat!? Lab, directed by Danny Rankin, explores new ways to create this feeling and bring more delight to the world through experimental games and playful interactions.
The Lab is located in room L101 of the ATLAS Institute, and maintains a library of board games (available for checkout), an extensive supply of game prototyping supplies, as well as a host of consoles, experimental controllers, and vintage arcade machines.
In addition to the creative work of the lab, Whaaat!? also hosts an , usually in the Fall.Â
