Tutor for CHEN 1310: Introduction to Engineering Computing
The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (ChBE) is seeking tutors for CHEN 1310: Introduction to Engineering Computing for the remainder of the Spring 2025 semester. The tutors will work seven to 10 hours per week. This will include one-on-one, in-person tutoring sessions (30-minute per session) with a group of students at pre-arranged times during the week.
The pay range is $16.50-$18/hr as follows:
- First Years & Sophomores: $16.50/hr
- Juniors: $17/hr
- Seniors: $17.50/hr
- Graduate Student: $18/hr
Qualifications
- Undergraduate student who has taken CHEN 1310 and received a grade A- or above; or graduate student experienced with computing/programming in each of Excel, VBA, and Python.
Student hourly positions are not permanent employees and hired on a semester-by-semester basis. This position is eligible for employee sick leave earned monthly on a prorated basis.
