Jewish Studies First Year & Sophomore Scholarship
Open to CUBoulder First-Year and Sophomore Students
Each semester, the Program in Jewish Studies awards a $500 tuition scholarship to a first-year or sophomorewho has declared a Jewish Studies Major or Minor. The tuition scholarship will be allocated to the student’s tuition the following academic year. Jewish Studies is an academic program open to ALL students of ALL backgrounds, Jewish and non-Jewish.
Applications should be submitted through CU Boulder's Scholarship Application in Buff Portal by the application deadline. Follow thisstep-by-step application guide.
Applications accepted on a rolling basis through March 15, 2025(scholarship will be allocated to awarded student's tuition inFall 2025).
Declare a Major or Minor with our advisor Michael Lynn during his office hours.

Applying for Jewish Studies Scholarships through CU Boulder's Scholarship Application
- You can access the ScholarshipApplication through the Buff Portal by selecting "Scholarships" under the Finances tab.
- In the Scholarship Application, please search for the name of the Jewish Studies scholarship you wish to apply for.
- Students applying for Jewish Studies scholarships arerequired to submit the General Scholarship Application in order to be eligible for all other university scholarships as well.
- Please pay attention to specific scholarship deadlines and request any recommendation letters you may need far in advance.
