Spring Semester Student Staff Positions

The above-listed positions will be paid $1500/semester for Spring 2025. Program staff positions are open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Academic staff positions (CAs) are open only to rising juniors, and rising seniors.

If your Cost of Attendance has been exceeded, you will be hired as an employee of the university and paid through payroll. Submitting a scholarship over COA will displace other aid. This can be explained by talking to the student staff supervisor, Jessie Kasynski – jessie.kasynski@colorado.edu.  As a hired employee you are eligible for benefits if needed.

  • As a student hourly employee, you are eligible for sick leave, jury duty pay, FAMLI, and may be subject to enrollment in the Student Employment Retirement Plan (SERP), Optional Savings Plans 403B, 457, and 401k. Sick leave accrues at a rate of 0.034 hours per every 1 hour worked. You are not eligible for fringe benefits such as vacation, unemployment, paid holiday leave, or tuition remission.
