- The PetaLibrary service, including access to or retrieval of data previously stored, is contingent on continued funding and support by Ƶ18. The University provides the PetaLibrary service on an “as-is” basis. While every reasonable and good faith effort will be made to ensure the reliability and availability of the PetaLibrary and of the data stored on it, neither Ƶ18 nor Research Computing make any guarantees with respect to its reliability or continued availability.
- In the event that Research Computing or the University ceases to provide the PetaLibrary or any comparable resource, neither Research Computing nor the University assume any responsibility for transferring any data stored on the PetaLibrary to an alternate storage resource.
- Neither Research Computing nor the University assume any responsibility for assuring the fitness of any “backup” or replication of data, including but not limited to “backup” or replication services provided as part of the PetaLibrary itself.
