SA Staff Connect on Microsoft Teams is a place for Student Affairs staff to make connections, build community and learn about events and division news.

SA Staff Connect is a completely opt-in experience and open to all Student Affairs staff. , and a member of the Employee Engagement Commitment Committee will approve your request.

How to participate

SA Staff Connect has dedicated channels for staff to more easily connect and learn. Staff can post as little or as much as they’d like. The channels include:

• Announcements: Find division and department news/updates, reminders and events.
• Meetups and affinity groups: Learn about events, organize meetups and start or join an affinity group (groups organized around shared interests or common goals). 
• Articles and news: Share and find articles around professional development topics, Student Affairs news, higher ed news and more.
• Fun: Share memes, GIFs and other fun content!
• Kudos: Show recognition and give shoutouts to fellow colleagues.
• Pets: Introduce and share photos of pets, and discuss pet-related topics like recommendations, dog park meetups, etc.

Be sure to turn on to stay updated with new posts and conversations.

Posting guidelines

Posts should be positive and align with the Acceptable Use of CU Boulder's IT Resources policy.

Posts that are not appropriate for the workplace or do not adhere to university policies will be removed, and a member of the Employee Engagement Commitment Committee will reach out to the individual to ensure understanding of reasoning. These include but are not limited to discrimination and harassment, soliciting donations and advertising for outside groups. If necessary, posts will be reported to the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance and/or human resources.
